CAN YOU PAY THE PRICE?
Bible Text: Daniel 3:1-30 (18)
A price is an experience or action completed as a condition for achieving an objective. Naturally, everybody desires to excel and have a good life. But, there is a “price to pay for greatness”, just as Joseph did when he was seduced by his master’s wife (Genesis 39:5-23). Note that he declined the offer not because of Potiphar but because he feared God. How many of us can do such in our generation? Joseph paid the price, and God fulfilled his dreams (Genesis 41). Similarly, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, refused to bow to the image and were ready to die. But, God showed up that they were even promoted.
Pastor Faith, a university graduate married and stood by Bishop David Oyedepo (polytechnic graduate) when he had nothing. They so much lacked that they once ate baby cereals for days amidst other challenges. But, what is the story today? She paid the price, held on and God has beautified their lives! Beloved, have you got dreams to accomplish? If yes! Always remember that, “there are conditions to be met to attain your glory, for nothing will come easy”. And I pray! As you commit to giving your all for Christ’ sake, you shall end well, in Jesus’ name.
Therefore, in your home, can you pay the price of patience and faithfulness to your spouse? Oh! In your business, you’ll take risks to invest more. Dear student, you need to study and research harder (2 Timothy 2:15). Peradventure you are seeking spiritual growths, holiness and a consistent prayer life through the Holy Spirit are of key importance. And so, you want to pray for fluency in fulfilling God’s principles in order to succeed in all your endeavours. But, are you Born Again?
PRAYER
1. Father, please grant me the grace to be righteous, faithful and diligent in thy sight.
2. Whatever it will take to fulfil my destiny. Lord, grant them unto me!
3. Daddy, empower and use me greatly to Your glory.
