COVER MY NAKEDNESS
Bible Text: Ezekiel 16:4-14
When a man is naked, he is exposed to dangers and molestation. God hates nudity and that’s why from inception, He has always covered man’s vulnerability (Genesis 3:1-21), so that when a child is born the first hospitality he receives is to be cleaned and clothed. However, nakedness do not necessarily mean physical exposure but may refer to anything or situation that could bring shame. For example, if a man is penniless we may well infer that he is stripped. Likewise, a person who is prone to sickness could be assumed to be uncovered. But, I pray! Any form of starkness in your life, home and career, God shall blot them out, in Jesus’ name.
There was a man who was helpless for 38 years because he had no one to assist him. But, on a day as today, Jesus walked by and covered his shame (John 5:1-15). Similarly, in 2 Kings 4:1-7, it took the intervention of Elisha for that woman’s financial reproach to be transformed into abundance. In addition, Rachael and Hannah were martially defenceless because they were barren. But one day, they became fruitful and even after 40 years of menopause, God made Mrs. Sarah a mother (Genesis 21:1-7). I am praying for someone who is on the verge of ridicule. This November, God shall prepare a large table for you in the presence of your mockers, in Jesus’ name.
Beloved, are you naked maritally, financially or health-wise? If yes! You’ll cry out to God because no one knows you more than yourself. Besides, it is you that can figure out where the shoe pinches. Therefore, those issues you find hard to tell Daddy, your pastor and friends, you’ll begin to tell God now. However, are you born again? Sin is nakedness (Proverbs 14:34)

1. Lord, I thank You for keeping me thus far. Thus, forgive all my sins and blot out it’s consequence(s)
