PARIS HORROR: SAVED BY A PHONE CALL!

Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

Friday, November 13, 2015 will be a grievous day to remember in history as over 132 souls were lost in a 3 separate attack in the French capital of Paris. However, there was a man named Sylvestre, who miraculously escaped death just by receiving a phone call when a suicide bomber detonated his explosive vest. How it happened! A shrapnel (A fragment of bomb) which scientist have proven would destroy anything touched, splashed towards his head. But, guess what? It only drilled a hole through his phone, but, luckily, not his head!

That brings to mind the story of a sunk tugboat on the atlantic ocean of Delta, Nigeria on May 26, 2013, which killed all crew members. After a 3-day rigorous search by Dutch divers, they suddenly spotted a hand hanging outside the wreckage and behold, it was Mr. Harrison, the only survivor underneath water for over 72 hours. Recalling his experience, he said, “Immediately it sank, I quickly wore an oxygen mask (No one could explain how it lasted for 3 days) and often heard noises of sharks, but I kept on praying in Psalms”.

Why am I saying this? Because, there might also be someone whose life and situation are in a fix, you need urgent attention or you give up. Relax! I have good news for you, the same God who rescued these men supernaturally (Hebrews 13:8), shall show up for you today in Jesus name. Therefore! What are you challenged with? Oh! Have you been given a set time to live? Whatever the case! You just need to raise a hand for a lift, for God is saying in today’s reading, “Let me save you from that shame and career retrogression” (Isaiah 41:10-13), or are you still basking in sin? Make the move to lift a hand and be saved today (Isaiah 59:1-2)

PRAYER

1. Thank God for shielding you and family from the storms of life.

2. Raise your right hand! Say Father, please rescue me from these sickness, joblessness, debts.. (Mention).

3. Lord! Arise against every wickedness of the wicked in France, Syria, Nigeria, Kenya, Libya, Middle-east and the world at large. Let your peace reign!
