JUST ONE MIRACLE!
Acts 4:16-22 (16) – “What should we do with these men?” they asked each other. “We can’t deny that they have performed a miraculous sign, and everybody in Jerusalem knows about it. (NLT)

In today’s Bible reading, the people gathered against Peter and John to disrupt them from further spreading the gospel and performing wonders. However, the same people testified that the miracle already performed by these men was so visible that nobody could deny it. There are individuals whom God is using for His works but who are facing persecution. What is needed is to remain consistent in preaching the Word and praying for others. God will back the Word and the prayer with miracles that the public cannot deny but accept Christ.
A single miracle is enough to draw a community to Jesus and cause deliverance from destruction. Verses 21–22 of Acts 4 reveal that the people paid attention to praise God only because of the miraculous healing they witnessed. This led to the escape of Peter and John from punishment. When Apostle Paul said, “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation” (Romans 1:16), salvation here also means rescue from all harm. In other words, the workings of miracles through your hands can guarantee your safety from danger and condemnation.
Beloved, how I pray for you is that God will grant you the grace for consistency in the Word and prayer to perform great miracles to silence the accusers and draw nations into the fold. Get ready because you are changing levels to the mountaintop, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
