A BAD MAN IN HEAVEN! (2)

Luke 23:32-43 (42)
And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

No man is ever opportune to know when he or she dies as death is the sudden judge of man on earth; owing to the fact that “When a man dies, his fate is sealed” (Hebrews 9:27). There is a place we go after sojourning on this planet; a place made of pure gold as of crystal glass (Revelation 21:9-25). Heaven is that great city of the pure and uncorrupted (Revelation 21:27), so as Hell is for the unrepentant wrongdoers to suffer eternal damnation (Matthew 13:37-51). Where will you spend Eternity?

Sister Tracy was an epitome of righteousness, all her life she had lived to please God irrespective of earthly consequences. One day, she had a minor quarrel with Mr. Shane, who was the choirmaster which she couldn’t bear but, kept malice. Guess what? She died that night! (Luke 21:34). Hmm … Likewise, Judas, a full disciple but never ended well (Matthew 27:3-5). However, at the other end in today’s reading was this hardened criminal, who killed and stole, and for that reason was nailed along with Christ but, was still saved at the very end (Romans 9:15).

Friend! Have you been watchful all along like the five virgins (Matthew 25:1-13)? If so! Glory to God Almighty! But, take precaution lest you miss it (1 Corinthians 10:12) because, “There’s a Bad man on his way to eternity, while a so-called Christian may be in Hell!” uncle! You may have robbed and killed before. Sister, you might even have had several abortions. But, there is a Hope for you today (Colossians 1:27) as your past and background doesn’t count (Isaiah 1:18), what matters to God is your final ending (Ecclesiastes 7:8).

“Giving or rededicating your life back to Jesus will be your wisest decision ever!

PRAYER

1. Father, because you died so I might be saved. Please, forgive me of sins of negligence and bad past (mention).

2. Holy Spirit! I need you every second, dwell in me afresh and lead my path till eternity.

3. Failure at the edge of breakthroughs, Die in my life!

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

A Friend is a person you like, someone who assists and share same interests as you. Therefore, who then are your friends? They are those that can either help you fulfil or mar your destiny. Who are those you associate yourself with? Do they of any worth add to you or do you to them? Oh! Hear Jim Rohn who said, “You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most of time with”. Watch It! However, there are the “God-sent” ones and also the “Unfriendly” friends.

In Mark 2:1-12, that sick man’s friends were his “Helpers of Destiny”, why? Because, they never relaxed until he was healed. I pray! Friends with Godly compassion that won’t rest until you succeed in destiny, God shall raise them for you in Jesus name. Just as Jonathan was to David, despite David being a threat to the throne, he never hunted him but rather assisted him (1 Samuel 18-20…). On the other hand, Unfriendly friends are those who disguise as if they love you, but are actually enemies within who seek your ruination.

Friend! A Kiss (care) isn’t all enough to show a true love, after all Judas kissed Jesus (Luke 22:1-71). Watch your friends! Are they smokers, adulterers or party riders? Why not speak to them about Jesus or do you mingle with fellows that only wants you beneath (Proverbs 13:20)? Eh! As the year progresses, you need good friendship! Today’s reading tells us, there are blessings attached with it because two are better than one (Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10). You want to pray! But, are you Born Again? (Proverbs 14:34)

Jesus is the Best Companion, come to Him!

PRAYER

1. Father by your mercy, rescue all unrepentant souls from destruction and uphold me too.

2. Expose all unfriendly friends within and around me, thereby replace them with Helpers of Destinies!

3. The grace to win souls and to make positive impact Daddy, release them to me today!

YOUR GLORY SHALL NEVER BE COVERED AGAIN… IT WILL SHINE!

There is a place we are going after our sojourn on earth, a city made of pure gold as of crystal glass (Revelation 21:9-25). Heaven is that great city of the righteous (Revelation 21:27), while Hell is the final destination for unrepentant sinners (Matthew 13:37-51). No man is opportune to know when he or she dies; death is the sudden judge of man on earth because when a man dies, his fate is sealed (Hebrews 9:27). What are thy works?

In today’s reading, one of the two condemned thieves still made it through to eternity at the dead end. Judas was part of the disciples, but never ended well (Matthew 27:3-5). Likewise, in Luke 16:19-31 was told, the story of Lazarus who made it to Heaven and the rich man to Hell. Eh! Remember, the parable of the Pharisee and a publican who prayed for mercy with humility, while he (Pharisee) prayed shouting, condemning others. Hence, the publican was justified above him (Luke 18:9-14). A Bad Man in Heaven!

Friend! Have you been faithful? Glory be to God! But, take heed or you miss it (1 Corinthians 10:12), because “there’s a Bad man on his way to eternity and a so-called Christian in Hell”. Brother! You may have killed before, sister you might even have had series of abortion, but there is a Hope for you today (Colossians 1:27), why? Because, your rugged and bad past doesn’t matter (Isaiah 1:18), your final end is what matters to God (Ecclesiastes 7:8).

Giving or rededicating your life back to Christ will be your wisest decision ever!

PRAYER

1. Father, I acknowledge today that you died so I might be saved. Therefore, please forgive me and have mercy on my bad past (mention).

2. Holy Spirit, I need you every moment, come and duel afresh in me to lead my path till the end.

3. I shall not fail at the edge of breakthroughs

Numbers 20:1-12 (11)
And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

A Joker card is used to perform flexible and mysterious tasks in a game. This piece of card is singlehandedly capable of springing up surprises to one’s benefit or the other hand, which can be extremely unfavourable. This Joker card can be likened to the devil’s cunning ways of operating in a man’s life; for the purpose of destruction when he slips off even at the dead end, irrespective of his usual strength and trust in God (John 10:10).

In today’s reading, Moses had led the Israelites for greater years through thick and thin, but he never got to the Promised Land (vs. 12); why? He fell to the devil’s joker, “Anger”. Bro. Judas was a disciple, but was hunted down by greed, so much that he betrayed Jesus (Luke 22:2-6). Eh! The devil knew how great Joseph’s destiny was, so he tried to seduce him through Mrs. Portiphar (Genesis 39:7-12). I pray! You shall not fall victim to demonic traps in Jesus name.

But! Do you think you stand? Take heed! (1 Corinthians 10:12). The devil is a cunning man who exempts no one (Acts 13:10). Oh! If he could tempt Jesus after a 40-day/night fast (Matthew 4:1-11), who then are you? Many have been battled down by this “Devil’s Joker card”. Maybe you’ve been faithful all along, watch out! (Mark 14:38). What are your own weak points? Is it pride, promiscuity or anger? Identify yours and work on them, so you don’t fall prey!

» Father! You are my only strength. Please, uphold me, help me and grant me the grace never to fail or fall again.

» Daddy, open my eyes of understanding to be spiritually alert and sensitive.

» Prophesy into your life! I’m favoured and blessed, I excel, I receive that job and contracts (Mention, Job 22:28).
