JESUS CHRIST: THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD!

John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

In the beginning, God created everything and He saw that the Light was good, so He divided it from darkness (Genesis 1:4-5). Therefore, Light signifies the Good, because it outshines and erases (Matthew 6:23) the darkness (evil) which was introduced by the devil (John 10:10). However, the birth of Christ brought Light to the world (John 12:46).

But, why do i need the Light? So we might be saved above sin (John 3:16-21), because “he that is saved, walketh in Light and shall know the deep and secret things” (Daniel 2:22). Hmm.. One night, a Pastor went into a path to pray and his lamp went off that he couldn’t revive it. But, he prayed and suddenly, a bright shinning moon appeared and lit his way until he got home. Oh! I pray, every dark spot in your life are erased completely today in Jesus name. Why? Because, “Jesus is the Light of the world”.

Now! The question is: Are you ready to embrace He who is the Light of the world? Yes! We are celebrating His birth, but do we really live the purpose or for which he was crucified? Be wise this Christmas! You need to think deep down, what are the dark spots in my life? Marriage, health, job and career or maybe you still live in sin? Today! Your Light has come! You just need to surrender in totality to him (1 Peter 5:7) and let him lighten up every dark area of your life (Today Reading). God Bless You!

PRAYER

» Daddy, please light up every dark spot in my life (Mention).

» As we celebrate this day, Father please make me a glorious shining Light to my generation.

» You need to be Born Again or re-dedicate your life (Isaiah 59:1-2), so as to begin to reap the full dividends of Christmas. After which you’ll ask for a special Christmas present.
