“Don’t regret yesterday, it is the perfect compass guiding your journey today” ~J. Johnson. Today is a fresh moment which had a yesterday & a tomorrow. Every new season gives another opportunity to start again, what you do today is what counts. Yesterday is a forgone history & everyone has a past.

How do we work towards perfection, if we haven’t failed before? Yes! I’ve made mistakes he promised to marry me & now, he jilted me, where do I start? Dear sister! Please, let it go & move on.. Oh! Hear Ritu Ghatourey who once said: “You can’t bring back the past, it’s gone. Keep moving forward and make better memories for the future”.

What are your past mistakes? Maybe you have been duped, jilted or abused & you find it hard to forgive.. You need to let go & move up (Matt 18:22). Why? Because, “the time spent thinking about a lost opportunity are times we waste walking with our eyes wide shut.. “Open your eyes & see new opportunities around you”.

Friend! No matter how rough the year has been please, move up! Let go of past errors, be optimistic! You’ve got a glorious future & the best is yet to come (TR). You will pray for the grace to let go & move on..

WHAT DO YOU STAND FOR?

Romans 8:31-39 (35)
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

To stand in this context, is to hold firm to something you believe no matter the consequence. Hmm.. Perhaps, that was the story of Habila Adamu, a christian attacked by the terrorists in northern Nigeria.

This man was asked to deny Christ & live, but he refused & was shot in the head. Guess what? He survived! Why? Because, he stood up for Christ & he showed up for him. What a Miracle!

In Job 2:9-10, Job & Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego (Dan 3:1-30) all also stood up for God. They were ready to die in the burning furnace & didn’t Christ show up? They were even promoted (vs. 30). Eh! “There’s no way you stand for God & remain a mediocre”.. No way!

Friend! What can divide you from the love of God (TR)? Money, Jobs or marital delays. No matter the issues, determine to stand up for Jesus, refuse to give up & never look back, he alone can rescue you from that present shame & make you a testimony to your world even as Job (Job 42:10).

You wanna pray today, but are you Born Again?

– Daddy, please give me the grace to be broken & to stand firm for you till the end.

– Father, as I’ve decided to stand firm for you, please elevate my life & rescue my from shame, discouragement, hardship & sicknesses (mention).

– Please, pray for the writer too.

“It’s not over till it’s over”, this saying is generally credited to the Hall of Fame baseball player & manager Yogi Berra, born on May 12, 1925. His point being that even if “unlikely”, due to the odds (score), until the game is complete, anything could happen and be a rallying point. Hmm..

There might be someone who is fed up with life & everything around him. You have checked! It’s November already & it seems, all your hopes & aspirations for the year hasn’t been met. Relax! You don’t worry, God is working it out for you. Refuse to give in, it’s not over yet, because this year, you shall still finish well & testify IJN.

Joseph, went through the pit, sold into slavery & was imprisoned (Gen 37-41). Hehe! His brothers would’ve thought, it was over. But! They never knew, they were working towards God’s fulfilment plan for him. Sir! No matter the delays, afflictions or persecution so far this year, don’t be weighed down, God has a master plan for your remaining 48 days of 2014.

Friend! “It’s never over until the final whistle” (TR). Never ever limit or dismiss yourself, after all Abraham against all odds still gave birth at 100 (Gen 21:1-7). There’s a God of “Never Too Late”. Oh! Hear, Marcus T. Cicero who says: “where there’s life there’s hope”. You wanna pray now (Num 14:28)! But, are you Born Again?

CHANGE YOUR MENTALITY!

YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK!

Proverbs 23:7

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Thinking refers to a person’s opinions & idea, it’s a way of reasoning. The process starts from what we see or experience, then goes to the brain which forms a believe through the mind.

The mind is a very crucial part of man. Why? Because, in it lies what we act & become (Proverbs 4:23). What do you feed your mind? Do you know you don’t see things the way they really are, you see them the way you are. How? A heart broken lady will always see her next relationship as previous.

What do you think of yourself? Yes! God has positive thoughts for us (Jer 29:11) & has has promised to help us (Isa 41:10-13), but all seems yet to materialise, but how do you visualise the future? Oh! Poverty runs in the family & you’ve formed that mentality, will you start thinking big & operate a prosperity mentality? (Phil 4:19).

But, I’m over 30 & my mates are all married, who told you your own season won’t come? (Gen 2:18). Graduates don’t get jobs easily & you’ve started thinking that way (TR). Eh! A disease runs in the family, have you forgotten that you’re a heir of the heavenly Kingdom? (Romans 8:16-17), confess life in times of trials (Joel 3:10).

You’ll pray today for a positive heart & mentality, but are you Born Again?

+ Lord! Help my unbelief, increase my faith & endow me with a positive spirit at all times.
