MY DREAM! ✍🏻

For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. (NIV)
Exactly 56 years today (August 28), an estimated 125,000 people gathered at the Woodward Avenue, Detroit to mark the 20th memorial of the 34 killed and several injured in the racial brutality in America. That day, the convener, Rev. (Dr) Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered a remarkable speech (I Have a Dream); where he foresaw an America that’s free of ethnic inequality (Black man in the White House). Because at the time, a black dare not sit where a white stands.
The speech sounded too unreasonable and drew global attention as there were no signs of hope. But, on January 20, 2009, a black man became the president of America. Eh! The worst thing that can happen to a man is, ‘not to have a dream’. Because if you can dream it; you can achieve it, as our text reads! Remember, Joseph also had dreams of greatness and got to the throne (Genesis 37-50). So, who says your visions (plan) won’t manifest, when God is the fulfiller of dreams as demonstrated in America and Joseph’s life?
WHAT NOW?
Write down the vision, pray continually and no matter how slow it seems, it shall surely come to pass. Hold on and never allow sin and the fear of past failures to weigh you down. The great men of today once had and still have dreams. You too can! Be Born Again.

1. Father! Let my visions find fulfilment by Your grace and power.
2. Lord! Save my loved ones and me from dreamlessness, blur ideas and destiny killers.
