Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God. (NLT)
There is no fixed time or age a man must die; death could come anytime, and when it happens, a man’s fate gets sealed— Judgement! (Hebrews 9:27). Moreover, Christ appearance is sudden and nearer (Matthew 24:43-44) so that we should always ask ourselves “What if I’m to exit this world today, where would I end up?”
Of a fact, many still live as if there’s no record in heaven. Hmm…as our text says, a day cometh when we shall give an account of all our actions and secret thoughts (2 Corinthians 5:10). Yes! You’re generous, but the genuine reasons behind your deeds shall be revealed (Romans 2:1-16). Oh! ‘I’m a well-known preacher or/and gospel artiste who performs at global events’. Don’t worry! That day, all your works shall get tried with fire (1 Corinthians 3:13-15).
Beloved, maybe you’ve been committing sins such as malice, gossiping, lying, adultery/fornication, forgery, and homosexuality among others, and you think no one sees you? Repent! The wrath is coming. Hence, we must often examine our ways in readiness to get raptured. (Revelation 20:11-15). Because “Life is too short and delicate to rock it with ‘Sin’. Let’s be actively watchful, so we don’t miss out on our home”. Meanwhile, if need be, ‘Accept Jesus Today’ or rededicate back to Him. He shall save you!
