THE LORD’S ANGER! 🔥
Zephaniah 1:14-18
Your silver and gold will not save you on that day of the LORD’s anger. For the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy. He will make a terrifying end of all the people on earth. (NLT)
The day of the Lord’s anger is the day when the grace and mercies of God would have elapsed (Joel 2:30-31). This frightful day could compare to a journey of no return when every unrepentant sinner would cry for help, but all to no avail. Many would even wish they were not born. Therefore, who are at risk of incurring the Lord’s anger?
Beloved, they are the people led by the rhythms of hell, so that they are constantly dancing at its gate. And Revelations 21:8 described them as the “fearful, unbelievers, abominable, sorcerers, murderers, whoremongers, idolaters, and all liars” among others. In addition, as our Scripture says, the fame and wealth of the rich would be worthless on this terrible day. Because those that were not found in the ‘Book of Life’ were cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 19:20, 20:1-15).
WHAT NOW?
You and I would consciously examine ourselves; for, the “Judgement Day” is at hand (1 Corinthians 10:12). Perhaps you’ve been rising and falling to temptations which has condemned you to a life of sin, addiction and guilt? Nevertheless, there is a way out today. In that, irrespective of your past or bad attitudes such as malice, murder, immorality, abortions and wickedness, if you surrender to Jesus. He’ll blot out your sins and write your name in the ‘Book of Life’ (Isaiah 1:18-19).

1. Lord Jesus, I can’t stand Your anger. And so, I acknowledge that I’m a wretched sinner (or a backslider). Please, forgive all my sins and blunders… (confess), and give me a second chance.
