THAT ONE LEPER! 🤝
Luke 17:11-19 (17)
Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? (NLT)
Money is not only the basis for measuring wealth; instead, it includes the fullness of life (health) and joy, among other things. Perhaps! You think it’s about your possessions, spirituality, skills, fame or beauty that you’re alive? Why not check the graveyards to see how many destinies get buried. In other words, appreciate your existence (past, present and future), or “If you’re not grateful for what you already have, why should you be blessed with more…” ― Germany Kent. Therefore, praise God always and in advance! (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
Today’s Scriptures buttressed the act of the leper who alone got wholeness because he gave thanks when others disremembered. Meaning: “Until we are grateful for what we have received, our testimonies may not attain perfection.” I mean, that reoccurring problem might not be unconnected to your ingratitude. Besides, we need to be thankful for victories over unseen battles (faith) and the hope we possess as children of God (2 Corinthians 2:14). Remember! Jesus also gave thanks for what He yet received (John 11:40-44).
Beloved, you and I will count our blessings; no matter how little you thought it to be and glorify this God who has kept us from shame and tragedy (Psalms 136:26). Oh! Like the grateful leper, return in appreciation to Him and let not His praise cease in thy mouth (Psalms 34:1). Because “Thankfulness is the secret for more”. Get Born Again!
