THE FARMER’S WATCH

 
Jeremiah 29:12-14 (13)
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
 
A farmer lost his treasured watch in the barn and after searching thoroughly, he gave up and beckoned on a group of children for help. He promised to reward anyone who found the watch. Hearing this, the children rushed through and around the entire stack of hay but still could not find it. Just when the farmer was about to finally lose hope, a little boy asked to be given another chance. The farmer looked at him and thought, “Why not? After all, this kid looks sincere enough”. So, the farmer sent him in again. After a while the boy came out with the watch in his hand! The farmer was so happy but astonished, and so he asked the boy how he succeeded where others failed.
 
The boy replied, “I did nothing but sat on the floor and listened. In the silence, I heard the ticking of the watch and just looked for it in that direction”. Hmm… a peaceful mind can think better than a worked-up mind (Isaiah 26:3). Sometimes, the noise in our life is so much with no clarity on what to do (James 1:8). The mind seems so occupied with lots of thoughts that promote sin, fear and discouragement (Philippians 4:6-7). Therefore, I urge you to always let peace guard your heart; consciously clear your soul to seek God when he may be found (Isaiah 55:6) and then, be patient to listen (John 10:27).
 
Beloved, remember that ‘a seed grows with no sound but a tree falls with huge noise. Destruction has clamour, but creation is silent’. In your success, remain noiseless and humble as there is power in silence (Proverbs 17:27-28). Thus, grow with God silently and cultivate a relationship with Him (Matthew 6:4, 6 & 18), so that very soon nations shall be blessed through Christ in you (Colossians 1:27). However, you need to firstly surrender to His Lordship. Be Born Again! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
 
PRAYER
 
1. Father, take away every form of distractions and barriers to a cordial relationship with You.

WHEN JESUS SAY YES!

 
Psalm 119:89
For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.
 
Abraham was 100 while Sarah was 90 without a child but in Genesis 17:15-22, God assured them of Isaac which they laughed off because no one thought it could happen. But, because when God approves a thing no power or nature can say otherwise (Isaiah 55:8-13), Sarah became a mother (Genesis 21:1-7). I’m praying for you that every contrary report to your divine destiny are cancelled now, in Jesus’ name. Why? Because, God’s promises (Jeremiah 29:11) for us are ‘Yes and Amen’ (2 Corinthians 1:20). Moreover, Lamentation 3:37 affirm that, “Who shall say a thing and it comes to pass, if God hadn’t approved it?”
 
Therefore, no force, satanic laws and oppression, medical report or prince of Persia (Daniel 10:8-13) can determine the course of your life; only God does. So, maybe you’ve lost hope due to current state of things which has made people to conclude that you can’t make it. Relax! For God says you’ll prosper (3 John 2). Oh! They say you can’t be fruitful but your creator says you shall multiply (Exodus 23:26, NIV) or whose report will you believe (Isaiah 53:1); man, or God? Therefore, Beloved, whatever the condition is, all you need is ‘a word in the Word (bible)’ to counter opposing suggestions to God’s promises for your life.

1. Any power and princes of Persia saying (No) to what God has said YES to in my life, shut up and die!
 
2. Father, everything You have purposed for my life, perfect them.
 
3. Wherever I have been paused in my journey to greatness. Lord, press play!

Bible Text: Psalms 136
 
I discovered in my little study that mercy always precede manifestation of miracles. Why? Because, before anything could be received we must first attract God’s compassion to move Him (Nehemiah 9:19-20). For example, in Luke 17:11-19, the lepers’ first statement was, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us”. Likewise, in a similar but reversed manner, when Jesus met the man at the pool of Bethesda, he knew he had been in that condition for numerous years hence he was moved by sympathy (John 5:1-15). I pray! That current hopeless situation in your life, career and marriage shall attract God’s mercy today, in Jesus’ name.
 
Beloved, you and I need that compassion because it is the primary qualification for receiving anything from God through grace (Hebrews 4:16), whether deserving or undeserving. Oh! Divine mercy is a situation at which one was fully guilty but got pardoned, discharged and acquitted such as our transformation from the Adamic nature (sin) to life in Christ (Romans 6:6-14). Therefore, maybe you were once a murderer or still a cultist, liar, fornicator or adulterer… name them! (If you’ll repent this moment, the mercies of God I s available to save you from guilt and destruction – Ephesians 2:8-9).
 
Peradventure, your own case might be that you’ve prayed and still, no results. Don’t worry! Today, you’ll cry out for mercy yet again and heaven will hearken to you! (Jeremiah 29:12)
 
PRAYER
 
1. Father, I repent today. Please, have mercy on me and cleanse all my sins.
 
2. Lord Jesus, in this present state of my life, career, health or marriage (mention). Please, let my condition move You to action.
 
3. I shall not die before the manifestation of God’s glory in me.

Romans 9:15
For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

Jesus was walking by when all of a sudden blind Bartimaeus started to scream, “Thou Son of David, have mercy on me”, and the bible says that, Jesus stood still and restored his sight (Mark 10:46-52). Similarly, it was recorded that Jesus was moved by compassion when he healed the sick (Matthew 9:35-36) and fed the 5,000 (Mark 6:30-44 (34). Furthermore, in Luke 18:10-14 where the Pharisee prayed aloud condemning the publican, the publican only prayed for mercy and he was justified above the Pharisee. I pray, the mercies of God shall work wonders for you this week and beyond, in Jesus’ name.

Beloved, if there is anything you want to pray for today, it would be for mercy. Why? Because, primarily, it was by it that you and I were saved (Titus 3:4-5). Oh! It was through kindness that Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan got to the palace (2 Samuel 9). Therefore, the question is: ‘do you need mercy? If yes! You need to first of all show mercy to others (Matthew 5:7), because it won’t matter whether you’ve fasted and prayed with no results, when you attract mercy; the grace and favour of God being your divine birthright becomes your driving force (Psalms 102:13).

‘When mercy is at work, your past and grievous sins are blotted out’ (2 Corinthians 5:17). However, you need to surrender to Jesus in order to obtain that mercy.

PRAYER

1. Thou Son of David, Jesus Christ, I have suffered too long concerning.. (Mention). Please, forgive me and have mercy on me.

3. Power of God that cannot be insulted, assaulted or polluted, fall upon my life and family, in Jesus’ name.
 
4. I silence every evil oppressor of my life, family and destiny, in Jesus’ name.
 
5. Favour of God, mercy of God and the glory of God, fall upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
 
6. Grace for the next levels in 2017, baptise my life, in Jesus’ name.
 
7. Just as the tongue cannot get to the top of the nose, so is my glory laminated in the power and grace of God. I’m untouchable, in Jesus’ name!
 
8. Satanic agent(s) in my environment, family and business, receive the fire of God and be paralysed, in Jesus’ name!
 
9. Evil meetings held to put me to shame this week, scatter and back fire, in Jesus’ name.
 
10. Evil monitors of my glorious living and career in 2017. Be blindfolded and disgraced, in Jesus’ name.
 
11. Peace of God! Reign in me, my home, job (mention)… begin to decree whatever you desire now and for the week
12. Begin to thank God for answered prayers.

A MIRACLE JOB
I passed a job interview that I didn’t even qualify for because I was made the Assistant Manager and this shocked my entire family and friends because I have not had a job for many years. Today, God answered my prayers and made me to be given a high post. Glory be to His holy name.

My hour of testimony has come, after 7 solid years of writing O-Level Exams, I finally made all my papers in one sitting and now I have gotten admission into the university. Praise the Lord!

Beloved, testimonies are ways of praising God and to say -thank You after which our blessings are made perfect (Luke 17:16-19). Moreover, when we share our good news (1 Timothy 6:12), ours and others faith is energised to automatically confirm our authority over the enemy (Revelation 12:11). Therefore, maybe you need a major turnaround in your life, health, finances, marriage or career. This weekend, I’m announcing to you that by the special grace of God your era of toiling and weeping are over and that you shall testify, in Jesus’ name. Be Born Again!
 
PRAYER
 
1. Thank God for these wonderful testimonies and for past miracles in your life and family.
 
2. Heavenly Father, please surprise me too this weekend and make my life an advert board of Your grace and glory.

Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
 
A scorpion, being a very poor swimmer asked a turtle to carry him on his back across a river. “Do you think I’m stupid?” exclaimed the turtle. “You’ll sting me while I am swimming and I will drown.” “My dear turtle,” laughed the scorpion, “if I were to sting you, you would drown and I would go down with you. Now where is the logic in that?” (Psalms 55:21). “You’re right!” reasoned the turtle. “Hop on!” The scorpion climbed aboard and halfway across the river it gave the turtle a mighty sting. Hmm…
 
As they both sank to the bottom, the turtle despairingly said: “Do you mind if I ask you something? You said there would be no logic in your stinging me. Why did you do it?” (Proverbs 26:24). “It has nothing to do with logic” the drowning scorpion sadly replied. “IT IS JUST MY CHARACTER” (Author unknown). Beloved, so it is with some humans. No matter how nice or good you maybe to them, it is just in their nature and lifestyle to sting (betray, rob, gossip, backbite, cheat, hurt, kill, blackmail…) for no reason (Genesis 6:5). And so, I pray that the Lord shall deliver us from such scorpions, in Jesus’ name.
 
Therefore, when they sting you, don’t stop loving, caring and praying for them. Sooner they will discover that hatred never wins (Romans 12:20). Be Born Again!
 
PRAYER
 
1. Father, if I’m the scorpion please forgive me, purify me and create in me a clean heart.
 
2. Father, encourage every doer of good to continue irrespective of betrayal and attacks.
 
3. Father, give me a discerning spirit to see and detect the wicked and their wickedness.

Do everything in love.

Mary moved into a new apartment and there was this old woman living in the neighbourhood who hated and disregards her so much that she would deliberately throw faeces into her backyard without her knowledge. This went on for a while. One day, the old woman had a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital. Mary was among the first to visit her at the hospital and she did not go empty handed; she went with fresh rose flowers. The old woman was amazed to see her and then apologized for all the evil she did to her confessing that she was responsible for the faeces found in her garden.

The young lady gave her the lovely roses she brought and she was so delighted that she asked where she got them from. “This beautiful roses came from the faeces you threw into my backyard” responded Mary (Author unknown) Hmm… when the world throws dirt at you, don’t let it stick (Luke 23:34). When they play the drumbeat of war, you sing a tune of peace and forgiveness (Colossians 3:13). Because, there is a beautiful rose waiting to spring up. And when the Lord is through with you, your life shall take your enemies by surprise (Psalms 23:5)

Therefore, Beloved, stay your course. Don’t be moved. Love will always win above hate (Proverbs 16:7); never forget that. Be Born Again!

PRAYER

1. Father, please forgive all my sins of envy, backbiting and atrocities (mention).

2. Lord, uproot every seed of hatred and wickedness in my life.

3. Father, help me, my family, church and nations to love one another as You have commanded.

4. I receive the grace to forgive and let go of every evil done against me. And Father, help me to pay back in love.

Bible Text: Isaiah 3:10
 
In 1873, Horatio Gates Spafford lost all his 4 daughters in a ship mishap in which only his wife Anna, survived. Hence, while Mr. Spafford sailed through the tragic location he wrote the evergreen hymn, “It is Well with My Soul” and thus, the family accepted their fate believing it was a divine agenda. And guess what? They invested more in humanitarian missionary work in the Jewish community of Israel. Hmm… I pray! Tragedies of any sort shall never be your portion in Jesus’ name. Be that as it may, when challenges come what do we say, see or act?
 
In 2 Kings 4:16-37, the Shunammite woman despite losing her son was so courageous and maintained that, “All was well”. Consequently, Elisha revived her child. It is my prayer that very soon, you too shall be able to say ‘all is well that ends well’, in Jesus’ name. But then, “how many of us could be so optimistic at our lowest state such as this woman? Oh! Can you be as David who stood alone to confront Goliath even when others could see defeat? (1 Samuel 17). Beloved, in that your present condition, you need the grace like that of the Shunammite woman to stand tall in times of trials (Proverbs 24:10)
 
“Sometimes, problems give birth to new discoveries. So, always look out for the message in your mess”.
Be Born Again!
 
PRAYER
 
1. Prophesy: Father, please let it be well with my life, health, family, church, friends, the vessel used, finances, businesses, career (Mention)..
 
2. Father, in my generation, turn me to a cornerstone that cannot be molested.

Matthew 14:22-31 (30)
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
In today’s reading, Jesus told Peter to come over and so he walked on the sea. However, when the wind became noisy Peter began to fear and sink. But, it is worthy to note that he never pretended to be alright, he shouted: ‘Lord save me! Likewise, in Luke 23:32-43, one of the thieves that was nailed along with Jesus never kept quiet and was saved at dead end. Furthermore, in Mark 10:46-52, Bartimaeus knowing that he needed help cried out until he got Christ’s attention. Eh! I pray, today as you too will cry out (pray), God shall grant all your heart requests, in Jesus’ name.

Beloved, the question is: “Are you okay? I mean are you comfortable with the current situation of things in your life, home, career and nation? Because, many have been drowned in the river of sicknesses, financial debts, stagnation, confusion and family crisis. If you happen to be experiencing any of such amongst other things. Then, join us for the End of 1st Quarter Online Prayer and Fasting retreat coming up from Friday, March 31-April 2, it’s a time to say, ‘Lord I’m not alright at all, please make my life a testimony’. But, meanwhile you want to pray this morning because ‘a closed mouth is a closed destiny’.

1. Father, I’m not okay at all. Please, I need Your urgent intervention in my spiritual life, health, career, businesses, marriage and ministry (Mention).

2. Father, unblock every channel of blessings to my life, family and ministry.

3. Satanic grinding mortar, pounding my destiny to disfigurement and destruction. Break and scatter to pieces.
