For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

A double portion is something which is twice the usual size. In this context, it refers to getting a twofold blessing just as God has promised in today’s reading to bless us in multiple folds. That’s why I can decree to your life that every benefit you are due for this year, God shall give them to you in greater folds, in Jesus’ name. In 2 Kings 2:2-10, Elisha didn’t wait, he followed his master till he got a blank cheque. Beloved, the question is, ‘if we are willing to hold on to God despite our trials and difficulties?’ I mean, can you wait for your day of glory? If yes! Then, it is my prayer that as you wait upon the Lord to follow Him through (Isaiah 40:31); your glory shall never fade away, in Jesus’ name.

Therefore, as we march to the end of March, you will ask for a double-portion of every good things you desire. For example, your prayer life, spiritual growth and maturity which will automatically birth signs and wonders. Why? Because, Elisah asked for twofold of Elijah’s anointing and did exactly double exploits. Moreover, to enjoy the double portion, you must not be a robber of God’s tithes (Malachi 3:8-12) and offerings (Isaiah 61:8-9). Furthermore, you should aspire to be a kingdom labourer so that without asking God can reward you in multiples (1 Timothy 5:17) and above all, you must know your God (Daniel 11:32) and trust in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10).
