A GREAT CHANGE!

Bible Text: Job 8:7
Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

Judging from the gradual creation of the universe (Genesis 1), you’ll discover that our God is a strong advocate of little beginnings and a progressive lifestyle as wished for us in 3 John 2. And so, we’ll examine a few examples of people who experienced a great change in the bible. In Genesis 37, was the story of Joseph whose beginning was full of hatred and envy from his brothers who later sold him to Egypt. But, little did they know that they were actually helping him to accomplish his dreams (Genesis 41:40-46). I pray! This year, by the grace of God, you too shall begin to fulfil your destiny, in Jesus’ name.

In 1 Samuel 16, David was just a little forgotten shepherd when God prompted Samuel to ask his father if there was anyone left in the house, before he was brought forward and anointed as King (vs. 13). Similarly, by all standards, Paul was not fit to be an Apostle, but through grace he became one of the greatest (1 Corinthians 15:9-10). Why? Because, “when the world writes you off, with Christ, you can re-write your story. After all, “no one can determine the cause of your life except God”. And that’s why it doesn’t matter what your past, present condition or bank account is, God can transform your ‘not enough to more than enough! (2 Corinthians 9:8).

Are you formerly or still a prostitute, gangster, homosexual, fraudster or you came from a poor home; whatever it is, “Never allow your background to push you to the ground”. If you’ll repent and say, Lord! Here I am, I need a great change this year; then, He will give your life a meaning! (Jeremiah 29:11).

1. Father, I’m tired of rising today and falling tomorrow. Please, help me to stand firm in Your word.
Â
2. This year, Father, turn my past and point of mockery to my glory announcer.

3. My prayer life, glory, businesses, career, family and finance, receive divine turnaround!
