THIS YEAR: WHO WILL GO?

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

God is always in need of man (Genesis 1:26-28), and even when it seemed as if He was angry with humanity, Noah found grace and was used (Genesis 6:1-8). Also, in John 3:16, God yearned for a man to save the world, so He gave His only son, Jesus. And again, He is looking for a man in our time because the world is in serious dilemma whereby religious extremism, corruption, immorality and homosexuality amongst other atrocities are the order of the day (Romans 1:18-32). As a result, God is in need of you and I to save the perishing. Will you say to Him as Samuel (1 Samuel 3:4-10) and Isaiah said, “Here we are; send us”?

This year, are you ready to go the extra miles to those embattled places and nations, and declare like Esther, “If I perish, I perish”? (Esther 4:16). Oh! God is looking for the Ananias to deliver the Sauls (Acts 9:10-18). Why? Because, the harvest is much but there are few labourers (Luke 10:2). And so, Beloved, I urge you by the mercies of God to be a kingdom investor by spreading the good news of Jesus and His salvation (Acts 9:15). Let’s show forth Christ’s love and light in us (Matthew 5:13-16 ); reasons being that the world and destinies are waiting (Romans 8:19).

Why not begin to reach out to people daily in your own little way because you don’t have to be a Pastor before you can win souls (Proverbs 11:30) or perform signs and wonders (Mark 16:17). As you obey and act, God shall make you a testimony in your generation. But, are you Born Again?

PRAYER
Â
1. Father, please help me fulfil my calling and purpose in life to Your glory.
Â
2. Lord, give me the grace to serve You wholeheartedly and to win the world for You.
“Our destinies lies in our obedience to God”.
